Ski season tips

Travelling in winter

  • Avoid the Saturday rush

Most Cortina hotels change guests on Saturday. A Sunday or midweek arrival is calmer, and an early-afternoon pick-up gets you there before dark.

  • Choose the van for ski bags

Three people with skis and boots fit far more comfortably in the van than in a car.

  • Snow on your travel day?

We check the forecast and road reports the day before and contact you if we suggest leaving earlier.

Questions travellers ask

How long is the transfer from Venice to Cortina?

About 2 hours from Venice Marco Polo Airport. In heavy snow, or on winter Saturdays when hotels change guests, allow extra time.

How much does a private transfer to Cortina cost?

€380 for a private car (up to 3 passengers), €430 for a van (up to 7) and €810 for two vans (up to 14). The price is per vehicle and includes tolls, fuel and VAT. The return trip costs the same.

Can you pick us up from Treviso Airport or Venice city?

Yes. The same fixed price applies from Venice Marco Polo Airport, Treviso Airport and Venice city (Piazzale Roma). Enter your pick-up in the form to see it.

What happens if our flight is delayed?

Nothing for you to do. We track your flight, the driver adjusts to the real landing time and there is no charge for the delay.

Do you charge extra for skis?

No. Ski and snowboard bags are included. For 3 people with ski bags we recommend the van so everything fits comfortably.

Can you drive us on to Alta Badia, Val Gardena or other resorts?

Yes. We drive to every Dolomites valley and between resorts. Enter both addresses in the booking form to see the fixed price.
